昨天的—-爱护地球一小时“earth hour”中是全加拿大最大的快闪行动，See Your World in a Whole New Light (今夜请关灯) ，
在多伦多中心的政府大楼歌手Nelly Furtado 演唱了 ”lights off” 。我在漆黑中也举办了一场家庭演唱会，和女儿共演唱了40多首歌曲，其中包括国歌，这大概是三月份最令我开心的时刻了。
我在facebook中看到这样的评语：
My husband and I ended up going out to dinner tonight around 7:30. The Thai restaurant we went to here in Fort Collins had a sign on the door, telling customers that they would be turning out the lights from 8:00-9:00 and we would all be eating by candle light. I was so excited to see that they were participating! I had heard about Earth Hour earlier in the week on NPR. We ate our delicious Thai food by candle light, and it made the night even more fun than it would have been!(eather Boughen wrote)
